The large-scale advertising company BigBoard Prague has Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 administered

The company BigBoard Praha, a.s., who specialize in large-scale advertising has finished implementation of the comprehensive information system Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009. The system was integrated by the EQM Rental Management Software (Equipment Management) from Armada Dynamics AS. Jet Reports provides the reporting and controlling for BigBoard Prague.

BigBoard BigBoard Prague, a.s. deals with renting billboards throughout the Czech Republic. It falls into the BigBoard Group, which has among others, branches in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and the Slovak Republic. The product portfolio includes airport backlights, neon signs and advertising billboards with lights, all located in exclusive locations.

The bottleneck process was the sharing of information between departments and the complexity of entering information relating to the business process. The main focus of BigBoard Prague was to link the ERP system with a specific agenda needed to rent advertising space in various sizes and types. A key requirement was to simplify the method of data entry into the system.

The aim of the project was that the existing ERP system Microsoft Dynamics NAV be adjusted for the current needs of society and linked to the industry solutions for rental - EQM. Complementing this implementation was the reporting tool, Jet Reports, which provides the export data from an information system into a spreadsheet and allows you to preview the information and conveniently create reports in Microsoft Excel without having to enter directly into the system.

After completion of the re-implementation of the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics NAV with their new Microsoft Dynamics partner, NAVISYS Ltd., as well as the deployment of industry solutions for renting - EQM Rental Management Software, BigBoard now has a solution that meets their needs. Industry solutions and module renting allows the quick response to customer needs in the rental of advertising space. The solution includes processes which allow the processing of the complete rental process as carried out in practice. It starts with processing the customer‘s demand, which can be based on a specific offer for advertising space to the customer. Following the conclusion of the rental contract it is processed in the system and monitored during the entire rental period of the advertising space. Businesses are therefore constantly given an updated overview and information on all billboards and the status of individual orders. In addition to business process solutions it also provides tools for development and maintenance departments of advertising space. Finally, the renting module is closely linked with other areas of Microsoft Dynamics Nav, especially with the property and finances module.

The developed integrated and adaptable business solutions are delivered through a network of specialized partners and help modernize and improve all business processes, enabling mid-sized and large enterprises, as well as divisions of global enterprises to significantly streamline their work.

EQM Rental Management Software is a unique solution from the Norwegian company Armada Dynamics AS. The solution is based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and comprehensively addresses the issue of the sale, rental and servicing of machinery, equipment and facilities. It is designed for rental and engineering companies.

Jet Reports is a comprehensive reporting tool integrated with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Directly from Excel, the user can view and generate reports from any module in Microsoft Dynamics NAV - general ledger, invoices, goods, warehouse, etc. Reports can be viewed from the website or in the locked tables in Excel. Thanks to its properties it is a useful tool for users who do not necessarily need to capture data into the system, but need to read it.
